Contact forms

If you leave a message on our contact form we will be able to see the information you provide, such as your full name and email address, as well as recording your IP address for spam-prevention purposes.

This data is stored in the website database and sent by email to the site owner. Only the administrator and owner of the site has access to this information.

We will only use this data in order to respond to your request via email.

If you’d like us to remove your details from the database or delete any emails, please let us know.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

We will retain the details you provided via our contact form in order to respond to your message. We will delete the data on request.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We don’t currently use any third party services. Your data is neither processed nor shared with anyone outside the Bees Please organisation.

Additional information

How we protect your data

If you use our contact form we will have a record of your name and email address. The administrator is GDPR-trained and our website lives on an independent (not shared) hosted server. It is highly unlikely that the security of the server could be compromised.

Should a breach occur we will contact all those affected by email so that you can change your password.
